American Airlines/US Airways is expanding its service at the Memphis International Airport with three daily nonstop flights to Philadelphia International Airport beginning in June.
“We are excited to add more nonstop options for our passengers,” said Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “This shows that our existing carriers like American Airlines are seeing opportunities in the Memphis market.”
“The nonstop flights to Philadelphia also bring added value to Memphis by providing one-stop connecting flights to the many international cities served out of American’s Philadelphia Gateway”, Brockman added.
Customers may book the new flights at aa.com and usairways.com starting March 8 for travel beginning June 5. Following the launch of the new service, American Airlines and US Airways will serve 127 destinations in 25 countries from Philadelphia. Notable international destinations include cities such as Tel Aviv, Paris, London, Montreal, Frankfurt, and Brussels.
